Press Association. Electric Telegraph. Copyright. Timabu, June 22. C. N. Mclntosh, Law and Financial Agent, of Timaru, who has been missing since April 29bh of this year, was to-day, by order of the District Court, declared a bankrupt.
The South Canterbury Cricket Club passed a resolution expressing disapproval of the action of the New Zealand Cricket Council in deciding to retain the profit from the vist of Lord Hawke's team, instead of devoting it to cover to loss sustained by guarantors. Timaru made a profit of £38 15s sufficient to pay 3s in the & to guarantors, Dunedin, June 22. The S.M., Mr Carew, gave judgment for defendant in a case in which nurse Rigg claimed 27s 63, salary as matron at the Infectious Disease Hospital, from the City Corporation.
