An order for the extradition of Arthur Sutton to Sydney, to answer a charge of bigamy, was made to-day at the S.M. Court. Nelson. June 19. , Henry J. Howard, charged with assault, and who escaped from the police gaol, has been re-captured near Parapara, having walked over 60 miles. Capt. Voss, of the Tilikum, and Buckeridge, his mate, are being entertained to-night by the Sailing Club. Palmerston N.^June 19. Owing to the greafe increase of traction engine traffic in the district, and the consequent cutting up of country roads by the extraordinary traffic, the Kairauga County Council has imposed an annual license fee of £25 on each engine not used solely for agricultural purposes.
