The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited report as follows : —

At our fortnightly sale today we offered about 1.200 skins, 14 bales and a number of bags of wool. Thero was a good attendance of buyers and prices wore equal to last sala's rates. Wo quote:—Dry skins, merino, very few offering up, to s;d for medium skins ; half bred ; 5d to 5-;; d ; lino crossbred, 4id to 5-Jd ; coarse crossbred, 4d to 4jd ; short woolled skirs, 3kl to 4d ; lamb skins, 3Jd to 5d ; green skins, from Is to 2s lOd for cross bred ; lamb skins Is Gd to 2s 3d each. Wool sold well ab late rates.
