- Jud^e Wiiliams, addressing the Grand Jury, dealt at some length with the robbery on the reclaimed ground near Sargoods.
Carl Jriebe, alias Carl Glandon, pleaded guilty to housebreaking at Heriot, and several minor convictions at Wellington and Christchurch having been proved, he was sentenced to two years.
