Berlin, May 21.

The Krenz Zeitung says that the Government should strengthen the relations with Britain by the rapid conclusion of commercial treaties.

The Kolrusche Zeitung says there are more important issues at stake than the German-Canadian trade. A British Imperial Union is obtainable only by the abandonment of free trade. Mr Chamberlain is ready to take the step and Germany most bear it.
