At the S.M. Court a charge of bigamy against J. D. Poppleton was dismissed owing to insufficient evidence. Dunedin, March 2.
The winning payments total £2545. The principal amounts are:—Stead £600, Campbell £280. J. B.Reid £205, J. A. Holmes, F. Griffen and Sir G. Clifford £185 each.
