The Supreme Court sittings opened to-day before Mr Justice Williams. The calendar comprises eight charges against six accused, the most serious being that of abortion against Dr. Fullarton. !

The Uourt is now engaged in hearing a charge of assault and robbery against James B!e), who J» al'egd to havj attacked and robbed an old nian at the rear of a public house.

True bills are returned in all cases.
