Railway Commissioner Fehan expresses himself as having been struck, during his visit, with, the prosperous condition of pastoral, agricultural, and mineral industries in New Zealand. The railways are working up to a high standard, and the general appearance of prosperity is heightened by the absence of groups of unemployed.
