Western farmers are calling for narrow gauge roads to reach market 9 with crops at all seasons. Diversification of crops, they argue, will be promoted thereby. Mud is king for months In the west. Engineers are asked to advise; capitalists have been consulted. The farmers are full of hope, energy and determination to scale some difficulties that have been holding them down.
