An inquest was held this morning concerning the death of the child born in Hagley Park yesterday morning. Medical evidence showed that there were n» signs of violence having been inflicted. The mother of the child was unable to give evidence. A verdict in accordance with the medical evidence that death was due to accidental smothering was returned.
