Tie Right Hon. R. J. Seddon had a great reception at Sfc, Helens. The borough was decorated and its freedom presented him.
At the Town Hall, iv the course of a speech in response to we'eome, he said universal sympathy for the King had goie far to remove international illfeoling. If they had a clean slate all would be well. He asked the people to suspend jrrdgraent regarding the Imperial Conference until its members had been heard.
