STRANDED TROOPERS.
Received July 7, 10.50 p.m. London, July 7.
The Daily Express states that a deputation of discharged Canadian and Australian troopers besieged the Town Council at Capetown demanding assistance, alleging that they were stranded and penniless. The Council promised them civilian employment until a troopship is available.
