A fatal shooting accident occurred here this morning. A youth uamed Arthur Dean, son of Mr Louis Dean, storekeeper, was cleaning a gun in the yard of the house and had fitted a cartridge into the gun. When ha was trying to withdraw the cartridge, the gun, which was full cock, accidentally went off, and a little girl, named Mabel Dean, aged six years, a sister of {he lad, and who was standing in front of him, received the contents of the gun, the charge entering the groin. The girl lived only about a quarter of an hour afterwards.
