BLENHEIM BOROUGH COUNCIL.

Before the ordinary business of the Borough Council was taken last night the following resolution was passed on the motion of His Worship the Mayor: " That this, Council hereby places on record its sense of deep regret at the serious illness of His Majesty King Edward VII, causing the postponement of his long-looked for Coronation Day ; but at the same time expresses its intense pleasure and satisfaction at the welcome intelligence that His Majesty is now out of danger and that Coronation Day will in all probability only be postponed for a short time." It was decided that a copy of this resolution be sent to His Excellency the Governor and the Acting Premier.
