Letter-Cards—Countries mentioned above, Id; Federated Australasia, Id each.
Post-Cards—All places, single Id ; reply 2d.
Books and Printed Papers —All places, -Jd for each 2oz. Special rates for Queensland.
Commercial Papers—Town, if not exceeding |oz., or Id for the first 4oz. and |d for each succeediug 20z.; Inland, Id for the first 4oz. or less, and £d for each succeeding 20z.; Australia and other places, 2|d for the first lOoz. and f d for each succeeding 2oz. Special rates for Queensland.
Patterns and Sample Packets —All places, nob exceeding 4 oz, Id ; every additional 2 02, |d. Special rates for Queensland.
Newspapers—Town and Inland, |d each ; Australia (except Queensland) and South Sea Islands, Id each; for Queensland and other countries, Id each if not exceeding 4 oz, and \ d for each additional 2 oz.
Registration—The fee for all places s3d
Parcels—lnland, 6d for the first lft. and 3d for each succeeding lib.; Australasian Colonies, Cook, Saraoan, Norfolk, and Hawaiian Islands, 8d for the first lib. and 6d for each succeeding lib.; for all other countries the charges vary.
Inland telegrams—(minimum rate) 6d for twelve words, including address and signature.
Letters—Letters not fully prepaid or posted wholly unpaid are charged donble the deficiency at the prepaid rate on delivery. No letter may exceed 2ffc in length or Ift in width or depth. Letter.-? containing valuables must be registered.
Late-fee Letters, etc., must bear Id in addition to the ordinary postage.
Cable Telegrams, International — (Europe: cheapest route) 3s Id per word.
Cable Telegrams, Intercolonial— (N.S.W.: lowest charge), 4|d per word. Other Colonies, various rates.
Telephone Exchange Connections— From £5 to £7 par annum.
