SHEARING RATES.
Press Association. Electric Telegraph Copyright. Received June 27, 10 a.m. Melbourne, June 27. A conference of the Pastoralists' Association and the Australian Workers' Union has arrived at a compromise. Shearing rates are fixed at 16s per hundred found or 18s 6d if the shearers find themselves ; shed hands 6s per day if found or 8s if they find themselves.
