Mails will close at the Chief Post Office, Blenheim, as under (subject to necessary alterations): — Wednesday, June 25. Wellington, Northern, and Southern Ports: Per Pania, closing at 7.40 pm; late fee letters, 7.40 pm Nelson and West Coast: Per Mapourika, closing at 7.30 pm; late fee letters 7.40 pm Fjuday, June 27. Wellington, Northern, and Southern Ports: Per Penguin, closing at 3 pm; late fee letters 3.10 pm Australian States (due Sydney July 3rd), Ceylon, India, China, ■ Straits Settlements, and South Africa, also Continent of Europe and United Kingdom via Brindisi (due in London August 12th): Per Penguin (to connect with Westralia at Wellington), closing at 3 pm; late fee letters at 3.10 pm Satubday, June 28. Nelson and West Coast: Per Wainui, 7.30 pm; late fee letters 7.40 pm r Mails close for Natal, S.A., from Sydney 7th July. Note.—Until further notice, unless newspapers for the United Kingdom are fully prepaid the Postal Department cannot guarantee to forward them by the quickest routes. Note.—The postage on letters for Samoa is for the present 2£d instead of Id. The postage on letters for Australia has been reduced to one penny for each half-ounce or fraction thereof.
