Dunedin, June 25. News of the King's illness caused widespread consternation. Mayor Park called a meeting of the Executive at noon to postpone all tomorrow's functions. It is proposed to hold to-morrow night a monster religious service to offer prayer for the King's recovery. Christchurch, Juno 25. There was great consternation when the news of the King's illness became known. There will be a meeting in connection with the postponement of to-morrow's functions at noon.
