A bulletin issued this afternoon, signed by the doctors, states that no operation was performed on Saturday, when the King's condition was satisfactory. Earl Marshall received the King's command to express His Majesty's deep sorrow owing to his serious illness that the Coronation must be postponed, but the King's earnest hope is that all celebrations in the country be held as arranged, also dinners given to the poor.
