A WIN FOR AUSTRALIA.
Received June 22, G. 5 p.m. London, June 21. The wicket was very soft. The Australians' first innings closed for 218, Hopkins playing a fine innings for GB, Duff net out 25. „ In the second innings Derbyshire made a poor stand, all beinc; out for 78. Wright 21 and Lawton 20 were the chief scorers. Saunders took 6 wickets for 40. Requiring 13 runs to win, the Australians knocked up the number with the loss of two wickets.
