Received June 23, 8.57 a.m. London, June 22. Two thousand colonial forces at Alexandra Park engaged in a military tattao. At the conclusion the troops massed beneath the Royal Standard and sang the Old Hundredth and National Anthem, thousands of spectators joining in. The New Zealand troops and Maoris who arrived by the Kinfauns Castle were present. Captain Taranaki and Lieut. Uru contracted enteric on the voyage and were removed to Netley Hospital.
