Bowron v. Stace, an appeal from the Magistrate's decision, was heard before Mr Justice Denniston tbis morning. Stace was employed in Bowron's tannery, and in December, 1690, while complying with the request of another man, Dewdall, fell into a pit and severely injured himself. - The Magis trate gave judgment for Stace for £100. It was contended on behalf of appellant that Dewdall was not a person in authority to whose orders Stace was bound to conform, but was merely a fellow worker.
