Mrs Kriiger died, after three days' suffering, from pnem-onia, aged 67
years.
English newspapers express genuine sympathy at her death.
The Times says that Mrs Kruger exerted a womanly influence more than onee —notably after the Jameson Raid —on the side of moderation.
