Dietrich Weiland, who some time ago made a murderous attack on Em peror William, lias been adjudged a lunatic, and confined in an asylum.

King Edward and President Loiibet have cabled their condolences to Col. John. Hay, United States Secretary of State, on tho tragic death of his son, Mr Adalbert Hay, who was killed by falling from a window.
During artillery practice at Nowport, tho breech of a twclvo-pomider gun burst, killing a captain and a gunner, and wounding six others.
Tho Scotch Courts have decided that the domicile of Sir William Cunliffe Brooks is English, sustaining his will. His widow and daughters sought to prove Scotch domicile.

In connection with the Cherbourg naval manoeuvres, the scheme is to prevent tho junction of forces representing the British Channel and Mediterranean Squadrons.
Toiao, June 26,
During naval manoeuvres off Osliima three torpedo destrojrers came into collision. One of the boats sank. Several lives were lost.
