IN BANKRUPTCY. **. —.— The adjourned meeting of creditors in the estate of Joseph Law was held, this afternoon hi the Courthouse. There were present—Mr R. Dunn, Deputy Official Assignee (in the chair), Mr McCalluni (solicitor for the Assignee), Mr Baillic- (solicitor for bankrupt), and the following creditors: J. J. We:isley, A. Nicholson, C. Goodman, T. O'Leary, J. H. Scott, H. V. Browne, T. Horton. Various statements asked for at last meeting were produced by bankrupt. The Assignee reported no offers were received for the business in resjJonse to his applications for tenders. A written offer from Mrs Law of £75 lor the business and fittings were put in, and Mr Wensley made a verbal offer of £85, and put it in in writing, the offer to remain open until 2 p.m. to-morrow. It was resolved that the rent for six months prior to the bankruptcy for the dwelling-house occupied by bankrupt be paid in full out of the estate. The meeting then adjourned until 2 o'clock to-day.
