SUCCESSFUL STORMING FEAT.
BOERS LOSE HEAVILY.
London, Aprills. During Major-General Babington's operation, H. Rawlinson's column rushed Smut's laager north-west of Klerksdorp at daylight.
Six Boers were killed, ten were wounded and 23 were taken prisoners. A 12-pounder, a pompom complete and two wagons full of ammunition
were captured.
