RELIEF OF RUSTENBURG.
A ROYAL SALUTE OF LIVE SHELLS.
London, April 14. A strong convoy has readied Rustenburg, in the Western Transvaal, which has been loosely invested by the enemy since January. Nine hundred of tho besiegers hurried north.
When the Queen's death and the . King's accession were heliographed to the besieged, Major Doran's garrison trained minute guns on to the Boers and fired salutes with live shells. The inhabitants of Nylstroom have been sent to Pretoria.
The Boer sniper vdio killed Privates Walters and Sale, of Tasmania, with two successive shots near Pletersburg, was killed himself.
