LONDON PRODUCE MARKETS.
The Department of Agriculture has received the following cable message from the Aaent-General, dated March 30fch:—" Butter, 100s; there is better demand for butter; cheese, 475, market dull. Some holders are forcing sales. New Zealand hemp, good fair Wellington, £24 10s; fair current Manila, £34. Hemp market is depressed; indifferent deliveries, market dependent on* Manila reports, Cocksfoot seed, 171b standard, 325, market speculative. Mutton dull: Canterbury average 4^d ; Dunedin, 4d ; North Island, 3£d; Australian 3d; River Plate, 3kl. Lamb steady; Canterbury, s:]d ; others, s|d ; Australian, quiet; hinds, 3|d; fores, 3^d."
