Wepener and Hawthorn ran half a mile on the grass in 52sec, the former not being able to hold the grey. ' . '

-After breakfast Malatoa and Military galloped a fast seven furlongs on the plough. Calibre ran and teat Cavalry in a five furlong gallop oil the grass in lmin 4sec.
