FUNERAL OF COLONEL FRANCIS.
Chjristchuech, April 1. The Premier and Lieut.-Colonel Newall will be present at the funeral of the late Colonel Francis. The Government will grant free passes to all members of the Fourth Contingent now in Wellington who wish to pay a last tribute of respect to the late commander. ■
