The Right Honorable Geo. Reid received a telegram from Perth stating that six Freetraders had been elected- for the Senate, and four Freetraders and one Protectionist for the House of Representatives.

None of the South Australian returns are complete, but for the House Kings ton, Bonython, Holder, and Glynn are practically elected, while for the Senate, Baker, Symon, Downer, and Play ford are leading.

The Queensland returns arc also incomplete.
