•* On Baturday two Junior Banner games wera pltyed and one Third Class game. JUNIOR BANNER. In the match, Awarua v. Wairau, played at Spring OreeTr, the former team, who had much the better of tho game throughout, was victorious by 11 poin'.s (a goal and two tries) to three points (a penalty goal kioked for the Wairaus by Daly). The other junior game played was Albion v. Waiponamu, at Grovetown. The result was Albion 4 points (a potted goal) to 2 points (a try). TBiaO OLABB. The Albion and Wairau Third Class teams had a good game on the town ground, the former team winning by 11 points (a goal and two tries) to 6 poinis (two tries). The Waiponfmu-A.warua match did net eventuate, the former team not putting m an appearance, and m consequence of their defaults they are now out of the contest.
