» CONTRACTED FEVER WHILE NURSING BOERS. Received June 11, 10 a.m. London, June 10. Mary Eingsley, the authoress, died of fever contracted while nursing Boer prisoners at Simonetown.' [Miss Kingsley, who was a niece of tbe late Charles Eingsley, travelled much m West Africa, and has published several books descriptive of that part of the world. She was a Fellow of the Anthropological Institute of Great Britain and Ireland.]
