Yachting: Accident

Wellington February 12. The same squall which caused the unfortunate accident on Saturday was nearly responsible for several other fatalities. The Arawa Sailing Club was holding races m which a number of boats were engaged, when McAnally, the well-known footballer, was swept off the Dauntless and only rescued with difficulty. The Bewi was sunk, and the crew had to swim for it. All were greatly exhausted, and Inglefield, the Sydnoy yachtsman, was partially insensible when picked tip.
