PRICKLY HEAT.
Thia disorder shows itself m minute red points slightly raised above the surfaoe of the skin, and m water blisters. It is a disease of hot weather, and is produced by heat. Flannels and other irritating 1 underwear should be discarded ; m fact, as little olotbing should be worn as possible, and the afflicted portion of the skin should be exposed part of the day to the air, and all exercise liable to overheat the body should be avoided. With diminished activity of the sweat glands the symptoms disappear. A very light diet should b* taken, and Mellin's food made as
directed for invalids is A suitable diet. A simple purgative will. help to jemove the complaint. Cool sponging may be resorted to as long as the .a at face is dried without Motion from the towel.
