— '-+ BOMBARDMENT OF COLENSO. BOERS LYING LOW. OLEARY'S EXPECTED ATTACK ON SPRINGFIELD. ACTIVITY OF THE ENEMY. Durban, December 15. Lieut.-Colonel Barton, with 38 guns, bombarded Oolenso on Wed* nesday. The Boers did not reply, tying low. They are, however, active at Groblerskloop and Springfield, where General Clery is expected to make an attack.
