He has been given a commission m the Oxfordehire Light Infantry (43rd Foot) and has been ordered to join the regiment m Pouth Africa. Mklbouehb, December 12. A steamer has just sailed for Port Elisabeth with 1800 eacka of oats and a number of horses and sheep ordered by the War Office. Auckland, December 12. So far £810 has been raised m Auokland for the South African war relief fund. Another sum of £100, m addition to previous instalments, will be cabled to London by the Mayor,
