A comparison of the rolls disclose i 18 instances of dual voting. Wellington, December 12. The ofiLual returns of the poll f r Wellington Oity are:— Burcheson 7436, Atkinson 6703. Pi her 6442 Macdonald 6320, Hislop 6297, Jeiliooe 4751, Luke 3812, Carmichael 1004, Earnahaw 851, Duncan 78. An error made by one of the Deputy-Returning Officers was disoovered, and the effect of the discovery has been to place Mr Macdonald fourth on the list, instead of Mr Hislop.
