A MIRACLE IN VICTORIA.
♦ I SENSATIONAL OCCURRENCE IN A MELBOURNE SUBURB. DR. WILLIAMS' PINK PJLLS FOR PALE PEOPLE SCORE A GREAT VIOTOBY. CASE FULLY INVESTIGATED BY THE CaRLTON GAZETTE. Mrs Margaret Ross is a fine sample of the olass that hae done so much to turn the wastes of inland Victoria into smiling homesteads. Originally she resided at Heathcote, and there, some two decades since, witnessed the fluctuations of mining fortune that made the locality bistorial m Victorian mining annals. Some years later she removed to Alexandra, and m the vicinity of that pretty township — close to the Acheron — Mrs Ross and family lived up to two years since when, coming to Melbourne with her husband, they took charge of the well-known grocery store at the junction of Rathdown and Palmerston streets, where a representative of the Carlton Gazette found her ready and willing to disourse on the immense benefits sh" had received from a course of Dr Williams' Pills for Pale People. Mrs Ross looked the picture of health, and courteously requested our representative to be seated. There was a smile of genuine welcome when our mission was explained and the history of her particular malady and its cure solicited. "Neuralgia," replied Mrs Ross, " was the complaint I suffered from for a period of ten or twelve years. During- the day time my suffering was painful, but on retiring to rest the agony I suffered was exoruoiating, . reducing me to a state of general collapse. I felt it during the day slightly, but most severely at night." "Did you consult any doctors at all?" > " Many ; but received no permanent benefit. They gave me draughts and powders, but the effect was really nothing." "You, of course, have tried other remedies ?" " Yes ; I tried everything, but obtained no relief." " What induced you to try Dr. Williams' Pink Pills for Pale People?" "An elderly lady, resident at Heathcote, 74 years of age, who had been a sufferer from rheumatism for 40 years, and who had been absolutely cured by their use, recommended me to try the Pink Pills for Pale People." " How long since might that be ?" " Six weeks sinee — the beginning of July. During the time I was taking the first box I lost only one night's rest, but since then I have never had the least return of the old complaint." "Have you used much of the medicine?" " About four boxes. Previous to my taking them the pain m my head reduced me to such a state that I was on the verge of madness. The last three years I had been very bad, so you can imagine the pleasure it was to me to find a remedy that has actually made a new woman of me." " That is so," remarked Mr Ross, who was present. " Had you seen my wife a few months since and now, you would scarcely believe her to be the same woman. " Yes," added Mrs Ross, "my recovery has been most pronounced and satisfactory to me. I have great faith m Dr Williams' Pink Pills for Pale People, and recommend them wherever possible." Congratulating Mrs Ross on her recovery, and expressing a hope that she would live long to enjoy the blessing of good health, our reporter withdrew. In all cases similar to the above, Dr Williams' Pink Pills have been proved an undoubted specific. They build up the blood and strengthen the system m such a way as to prevent any ill effects ocqurring after influenza, colds, &c. They are also a certain cure for rheumatism, sciatica, lumbago, loss of physical strength, debility, indigestion, and sick headache. Obtainable from all chemists and dealers, or from Dr Williams' Medicine Co., Wellington, N.Z., who will forward six boxes for 15s 9d (or one box for 8s), post free. They restore pale and sallow complexions to the glow of health, and are a specific for all the troubles peculiar to the female sex ; while m the case of men they effect a radical oure m all cases arising from mental worry, over-work, or excesses of whatever nature.
