BRUNNER RELIEF FUND.
DUNEDIN'S CONTRIBUTION. [united fbkss association.] Dunedin, May 11. At a meeting of the Brunner Relief Fund Committee the treasurer reported that the fund collected m Dunedin to date amounts to over £2645. There are several lists to come m yet, and of the Daily Times fund of over £400 over £50 has not been paid m, so that the list is over £8000. After discussion it was resolved, " that m the opinion of this meeting it is advisable to adhere to the previous resolution, viz., to leave the plan of distribution of the fund to the Municipal Conference to meet m Wellington m July, and that the Premier be telegraphed to this effect, and informing him that the other centres approve of this, and also stating that the Committee presume the meeting convened by him for next Thursday is not to be held, and asking a reply."
