The following ia an extract from the MARLBOEoran Express report of the proceedings at the Marlborough Agricultural snd Pastoral Association Show of 1892 : — In the horse class Mr Stevens' judging was received favorably, and tho pains he took m thoroughly examining the horses presented to him showed he intended to be careful as will as impartial ; and as a great deal of interest was shown m the thoroughbred judging it mt<y be as well to give Mr Stevens' opinion of Mbbbik Kino, the horse which won the championship against Catesby. This horte, — which by the way was bred by Mr O. Redwood, and is by King Cole, — Mr Stevens thinks, when full grown, will be hard to beat on any ground m the colony, and he Bhows now that he ia the proper stamp from which to breed racehorses.
