EVIDENCE OF A WRECK.
(united fbxss association.) Sydney, September 19. On the sth instant, and several following days, a number of Oregon pine logs came ashore on the southwest side of Lord Howe Island, slightlycoveredwithbarnacles. They have the appearance of having been m the water about three weeks. One log is marked " Oh " on the end ; another "W" m black paint. On the 6th of May last there was picked up on the south-west side of the island the glass globe of an EdisonSwan electric light.
