PROSPECTING FOR GOLD-
[united pbebs association.] Napier, July 19. Gold prospectors m the Wairoa district who returned after three weeks absence, report a rough time owing to the snow. They found traces of a reef considerably disturbed by volcanic action, and also brought m samples of the prospect — loose gold, slightly better than previous samples. Further exploration is intended.
