ESCAPE FROM GAOL.
[UNITED FBEBS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, May 10. Joseph McFogan, a prisoner under a sentence of seven years for barglary and other offence >, escaped from the bard labor gang at the Mount Cook prison yesterday afternoon As he left his prison clothes behind, it is believed he had an aooomplioe. The authorities are at fault as to how he managed to evade the sentries.
