[UNITED PBESS ABSOOUTION.] Christchcrch, January 20, The third wool sale of the season commenced tbia morning, 10,287 bales were oatalogued. The wool was m very good condition though naturally a little heavier than that earlier shown. There was good attendance of buyers. There was a deoline of fuliy a half-penny per pound m oross-breds, but an improved demand for merinos, m which there was a farthing to a half-penny per pound as contrasted with the previous sale.
