[united pbbss association.] Melbourne, January 23. In the Assembly, by a majority of 45 to 42, a motion to reduce the Agent-General's salary to £1000 was rejected. So far, the discussion m the Legislative Council on the Income Tax Bill has been of a hostile nature.
