In replying to a deputation who aeked for a grant to enable a new wing to be added to the Ghristehuroh Hospital, the Premier said the Government bad no money. The Industrial Oenoiliation and Arbitration Bill, one of the big labor measures of the Government, passed through Committee without material amendment, and, consider* ing the importance of the subject, without muoh disoussion. Mr Bell objeoUd to a Judge of the Supreme Court being made President of the Board of Arbitration, but the Souse thought differently, and the clause was agreed to.
