+ (UNITED PBEBS ASSOCIATION.) Wellington, July 19. A quantity of wreckage, consisting of kauri deck planking, and several portions of blue gam ribs were washed up atLyell Bay yesterday. The annual report of the Wellington Building and Investment Sooiety shows a profit on the year's business of £2,450 The directors reooramend the payment of a farther dividend of 5 per oent, making 9 per cent for the year. Donhdin, July 20. The Knights of Labor oarried a resoldtion urging the Government to adopt Saturday as a general half-holiday.
