SERIOUS ACCIDENT.
A DRIVER THROWN UNDER A TRAM. [UNITED PBEJB ASSOCIATION.] Chbibtchubch, April 7. Horses attached to a tram leaving Cathedral Square for Papanui thi* afternoon, broke away, palling the driver, Joieph Fergusos, on to the ground between the rails. The oar pasied partially over him, breaking his right thigh and crashing hit left foot He was also cat about the head and braised on the body and legi. The aooident happened through a pin holding the swingle trees giving way.
