The Auckland district will take m part of Hawke's Bay, the remainder of the latter being admiaistered from Wellington. A resident officer will be stationed at Napier, and officers m charga m tbe four centres have been asked to qualify them* selves for the position of inspectors m view of filling future vaoancies. Mr Gannaway, of the Nelson office, will m all probability be removed to Blenheim, whioh ia a more central station.
